Welcome to dnata Rugby Academy
The dnata Rugby Academy, working throughout Dubai is designed to give specialist skills training to both players showing potential to develop or those just loving their rugby and wanting more.
The academy is not club or school specific and welcomes players from all schools and local rugby clubs.
The head coach – Matthew Pewtner, former Welsh International player who has only recently retired from professional rugby. His skills and knowledge are as up to date as anyone’s and he truly inspires players to be the best they can be. All players will be coached by and have contact time directly with Matthew on a weekly basis.
The dnata Rugby Academy has developed players to the extent they have been offered rugby scholarships at UK boarding schools & beyond. Training is split in to two age ranges, U5-U8’s & U9’s-U19’s and sessions are held at the following locations at the following times:
Training Times
Monday: 17:45 – 19:00 at Dubai Sevens
Tuesday: 17:30 – 19:00 at Jebel Ali School
Friday: 08:30 – 10:00 at Dubai Sevens
