Release of the 2020/21 Gulf Rugby Report
As you will probably be aware by now, here at Yalla Rugby, we love statistics and rugby data analysis.
To mark the end of what has been a remarkable season, considering the current circumstances around the globe, with the Covid-19 virus still rife, the United Arab Emirates is one of only 12 countries in the world who have actually been able to play some form of contact rugby this season.
To celebrate that, we’ve put together a visual report, showing key data collected throughout the season, which will hopefully give you some good insights into each clubs performance throughout the season.
Of course, there has been no “competitive” rugby, so to speak, only friendly fixtures have been played during the 2020/21 Gulf Rugby season. We have still included league tables for illustrative purposes, but there will be no winners or losers this season.

As always, huge thanks goes to the Referee’s and officials, UAE Rugby and the RCC, who dedicate a huge amount of time to our sport here in the Middle East.
