UAE Rugby To Be Represented By All-Emirati Side At Arab 7’s

Arab Rugby Sevens Jordan 2017

All-Emirati Side Representing UAE At Arab 7’s In Jordan

UAE Rugby will be represented by an all-Emirati men’s 7-a-side at this coming weekend’s Arab 7’s tournament.

In its third year, the tournament will be played in Jordan over the coming weekend of Friday October 6th, and Saturday October 7th.

“Our board has selected a side of strong, experienced Emirati rugby players, with only one new player making his 7’s debut.” said UAE Rugby Federation Board Member Mohamed Shaker. “We are looking forward to very competitive games, as our Pool consists of very capable teams which we will not underestimate. We are confident our players will put forward a very strong challenge and produce the winning results.”

UAE kick-off their campaign, on Friday, against Iraq at 10:30, followed by Jordan at 14:00, finish day one’s pool games with Libya at 18:30 (times local).
