Apollo Perelini Rugby Skills Academy

The Dubai based rugby academy of former international rugby union and rugby league professional, Apollo Perelini was formed in 2010 in response to the need for quality rugby skills development in the region.

The APRSA academy focuses on rugby skills development for players and coaches at all levels of the game and is committed to the following two areas of UAE rugby development:

• Raising the standard of rugby played at all levels
• Increasing participation in the sport of rugby at all levels

The Apollo Perelini Rugby Skills Academy provides four programmes throughout the year;

• Skills Academy
  Developing fundamental rugby skills (technical, perceptual and tactical) for school-aged rugby players of all levels and abilities.
• Skills in Schools
  Introduction to rugby, focused on basic skills and movements, to build confidence for young players and non-players of rugby.
• Skills Camps
  Short intensive programmes focused on further developing fundamental rugby skills.
• Coaching Coaches
  Short programmes focusing on the development of school and club coaches.
