The top 2 finishing positions in the league at the end of the normal domestic season will qualify for a Final playoff match.

Points Calculation System
Win = 4 Points, Draw = 2 Points, Loss = 0 Points
Score 4 tries (or more) = 1 Bonus Point
Lose by 7 points (or less) = 1 Bonus Point
Forfeiting team = 0 Bonus Points, Score of 0
Forfeiting team opposition = 1x Bonus Point, 4x Match Points, Score of 40 Points

During the 2023/24 season, all UAE based teams playing Doha will be double headers.

The West Asia Premiership rugby competition is back for the 2023/24 UAE rugby season. With 2 additional teams (Doha and Hurricanes) joining the top tier rugby league, we can bring you all of the latest league table standings for this season’s return of the top tier rugby competition in the Middle East.

Reigning champions looking to defend their status are Bahrain RFC, having been declared 2022-23 season Champions of the West Asia Premiership. The latest offering of teams in this competition see 4 teams from Dubai, 1 team from Abu Dhabi and 1 team from the Bahrain and 1 team from Doha.
