UAE Mens XV Squad Announced Ahead of Asia Rugby Division 1 Championship
UAE Rugby have announced their Mens XV squad to travel to Pakistan in the Asia Rugby Championship Division 1 series taking place in July 2023.
The Dubai Tigers Rugby Club established themselves back in 2013. Still in it’s infancy compared to other local rugby clubs, the Tigers have gone from strength to strength, starting with a small mini/junior section of 40 players to now having over 300 playing members across its youth section, men’s rugby teams.
Founded by Shane Thornton, who still to this day continues to lead the club to success in having gained promotion to the UAE Premiership after back to back Division 2 wins in 2017/18 and 2018/19 rugby seasons.
The Tigers Rugby Club pride themselves on being a family club whereby their foundations are built on mutual respect and the love of the game of rugby union in Dubai.
